Sorcha Duncan qualified as a solicitor in 2019, having trained with both Jim and Richard assisting them with the preparation of their most serious cases as well as running her own substantial caseload. She was subsequently selected by Richard and Jim to support them in their Special Casework Department, assisting with cases such as the now infamous Wayne Couzens case and the defence case of Jack Shepherd, "The Speedboat Killer". Sorcha has experience in representing clients charged with sexual offences, serious violence and dishonesty as well as prosecuting cases for the Health and Safety Executive and the Driver and Vehicle Standard Agency. When Richard and Jim set up Egan Meyer, they asked Sorcha to work for the firm and she has been an invaluable asset. Sorcha combines her undoubted legal acumen with a rare ability to know the less well-signposted areas of her clients' cases and fights tirelessly for them.
